Brian Duffy, ACMA., MBA, CeB, QFA

Brian Duffy is a B.Comm. graduate of NUIG, and is
an Associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
He has also completed an MBA from Manchester Business
School, and is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).
Brian has worked in accountancy practice with CAG Accountants,
in industry (Nortel), and in commercial lending (Anglo
Irish Bank and IIB Bank).
Brian’s expertise in analysis, assessment and appraisal of many business
types has given him a knowledge base which is invaluable to understanding clients’ business
and demonstrating to clients the key areas of business performance management.
Brian’s clients sectors include charities, community projects, professional
services, education & training, farming, jeweller, manufacturing, media,
restaurant/pub, retail, tradesmen. Brian advises clients on business planning,
financial risk management and cost reduction programs.

Brian Feeney, ACA, QFA

Brian
holds a Commerce degree, is an Associate Member
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
and is a Qualified Financial Advisor. He joined Kitt
Noone & Co(now
DHKN) in 1992 where he trained and qualified as a Chartered
Accountant. In 1997 he joined Nortel as a Finance Manager
before joining Nestor SuperValu Group in 2002 as Finance
Director.
During Brian’s time spent in accountancy practice he gained an in-depth
knowledge of Small to Medium sized Enterprises in many sectors including construction,
retail, hotel & leisure, motor, licensed, food
and manufacturing. From his most recent role he has
gained a deep insight into the workings of the retail
sector and would regard this business as an area of
specialist expertise for him.

Alan Shaughnessy, ACCA , QFA

Alan graduated
from GMIT with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree
is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants, and is a Qualified
Financial Advisor. Alan has gained 12 years
experience in financial Institutions in the city of
London and Sydney where his employers included Lloyds’s
TSB, JP Morgan Chase, and ING Bank. He has held a number
of senior roles in Capital Markets arm of Investment
banking.
Alan has amassed a wealth of knowledge in financial and derivative markets and
the various products available to maximize balance sheet usage and limit risk
to credit, interest and cross currency exposure. |
